Lead Generator Specialist (Sales)
locai Solutions is building the next generation eCommerce and fulfillment SaaS platform for grocery retailers. We are looking to grow our Sales team with a strong Lead Generator who has a passion for technology as well as grocery industry expertise and insight. You will have the opportunity to join a growing company comprised of grocery geeks and retail relics, and be a pivotal part of establishing our sales strategies, marketing campaigns, and overall brand awareness!
What skills are we looking for?
You are a people-person at heart, with an above average skill set in communication and connection. It’s your job to find potential clients who are looking for eCommerce and fulfillment solutions, and set-up appointments for us to demo our suite of software. You’re the first step in the prospecting process, and your ability to understand the eCommerce needs of prospective clients and to be authentic and persuasive determines your overall success. You primarily use the telephone to engage with new individuals, though you may also generate leads through email and social media campaigns.
Ability to listen, problem-solve and promote the right product to the right prospect
Proven track record of generating quality leads, promptly
Familiarity with SaaS services and ability to discuss underlying technology with potential clients
Capacity to quickly learn grocery and retail specific jargon and talk the talk
Superior communication skills, especially verbal
Strong presentation skills with a visual sense on how to use images, graphics, and other visual aides to capture someone’s attention and quickly convey a compelling message
Driven and resourceful in finding new approaches to ensure messaging is resonating with potential clients
Wide knowledge of different marketing tools, platforms, and strategies, and ability to learn quickly and test different tactics.
Reach out to prospects via telephone and email to qualify leads using our internal target lists, as well as your own network.
Actively listen and foster engaging conversation to uncover business needs, understand current pain points, and position Locai as a compelling solution.
Collaborate on the development or refinement of the corporate website and the supporting marketing materials needed to open doors to potential clients
Generate qualified leads and maintain and update an accurate log of activity with these leads in the enterprise sales CRM system (PipeDrive) for management review
Arrange and coordinate calls and in-person meetings between management and qualified leads
Perform other duties as assigned
Education & Experience
Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree
1-3 years of experience in a customer service, lead generation or sales role
Previous Marketing or Sales experience in technology for retail, eGrocery or grocery a plus
Experience with PowerPoint and enterprise sales CRM systems (PipeDrive a plus)
